Located in Southern California, this intimate 1940's style theater setting with sound, stage, and lighting for your more unique and special events that require an elegant space with all the amenities to make your production, workshop, showcase, salon, meeting, or event a successful one. 

 

Our theater now offers theatrical screenings and presentations with our state of the art 16 foot projection and sound system. This elegant space come with an electric baby grand piano for your special event!  And yes,  it's always in-tune!

The total square footage is approx. 850 square feet

Seats up to 50 people

Parking is very good on street and behind the theater.

We have a small lobby and backstage green room area and whisper quiet air conditioning

The Stage is 12ft wide by 14ft deep, the ceiling height is 10ft

The raised stage is approximately 9 inches from the ground

Include DMX controlled stage lighting with 5 fixtures (multi-color) and programmable

Full PA Sound system with mic and stands

One restroom and backstage area /green room /makeup area

The acoustics are AMAZING and we have even showcased and recorded operas in this space 

as well as jazz concerts, standup comedy, one man and woman shows and more.

Theater Rental And Extras:
Theater rental is $225 per hour

Lighting And Tech $50 per Hour
If a tech includes any or all of the following:

  • Sound mixing/playback

  • Projector Operation

  • Slide operation 

  • Lighting operation 

 

Piano Player $75 per hour (2 hour minimum)

The digital baby grand, is always available and in tune, ready for you to tickle the ivories. 
But if you need a Professional Piano player for live music, let us know.



Lighting Programing:

If your show needs special lights/colors/patterns/cues please plan time for programing, rehearsal, and testing.  Programing takes 15 - 30 minutes per light cue.  If your show has more then 4 (that are not simply on or off) please discuss with Charles, and plan a day to do all the programing and a cue to cue rehearsal with the program director and lighting tech.

HD Video Marketing:
$2000-$4900 

We can produce a professional marketing video for your event including interviews with supporting clips of your show.  This is a VERY effective marketing tool. 

Price varies depending on complexity and scope.

Cleaning/Overage Deposit:
$150 

This can be waved if you leave the theater as it was left for your event.  All trash between the seats must be picked up.  Stage and floor must be vacuumed, and trash cans must be emptied. The theater has a vacuum cleaner that can be used.

 

Also covers any other overage fees that may be incurred.  In the event that there are additional charges that this amount doesn't cover, all extra charges will be due at the end of your event.

Waiver:

Any injury or damage to theater will be entirely the responsibility of the Renter. The renter will not hold The Aurora Theater or Charles Tentindo liable in the event of accident or death during the time of the rental.

All rentals must be pre-paid in full to reserver the theater for your event. 

And all sales are final.
